As a typographer (not type design!), writer, illustrator, & occasional photographer—my works tend to overlap disciplines in interesting & dynamic ways. My practice centers itself around unique methods of storytelling & interactivity, most often through the creation of narratives & bookworks.

I hold a BDes in Communication Design (Graphic Design) from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, & I am currently enrolled in their MDes Information Futures stream—where I am investigating the book as object, & how typography & writing interact to create meaning. Through these explorations, I seek to find the furthest reaches of textual potential (reflected in several of my featured portfolio pieces).

Whenever I’m not putting together some overly complicated typographic narrative, you’ll either find me drawing weird “surrealscapes” in handmade sketchbooks, taking photographs with my broken camera, or separating color layers of my own wildlife photography to be printed via risograph.
